TrustyFiles automatically manages your P2P network connections that allow you to run searches and find more sources for your current downloads. The software will find and connect to your neighbors on the network and make new connections as needed.

If your Primary Use is set to Public File Sharing, TrustyFiles will keep you connected to the network

as long as TrustyFiles is running. If it's Personal, TrustyFiles will connect only when you run searches or click a TrustyLink. If Private, TrustyFiles will require you to confirm any network connections.

Don't connect quickly?
It can happen. Since there is no central server, you're dependent on your fellow P2P users, who regularly go on and off the network. If you're not able to get or stay connected, just wait a few minutes. TrustyFiles will automatically continue the process of locating new network connections.

Bad connections?
You run searches and get no or few results when you should be getting hundreds. Sometimes your network neighbors are not so friendly. They may be on a slow PC or connection, or not connected to enough neighbors themselves. Just click the Tools command and then Disconnect and Connect to find better connections.
