Click the Search button to show the search display, which contains two windows - Search Entry and Search Results.

Search Entry

The search entry window provides keyword entry and file search options. The TrustyFiles search is keyword-based. When a P2P network user receives your search request, your keywords are compared against the file names for the files the other user is sharing.

	Keyword. File names and metatags can include the following types of keywords:
		Title. File names normally contain all or part of the title. Best for searching if you're looking for a specific file.
		Talent. Artist, producer, model, actor, etc. Typically included for music files, but may or may not be used for other file types.
		Categorizations such as genre. Common in music files but only occasionally used otherwise.
		Descriptions. Sometimes used if there is no title.
	The File Type menu lets you search for All files or specific types, such as music. The Network selector enables normal P2P searches or web searches. If you click the web search button, a menu displays that lets you select different types of web-based searches, including Bitzi (a Magnet Link directory), and Google.
	Click the Search button to start the search. You can run multiple searches at the same time.

Search history
Click on the arrow on the right side of the keyword textbox to display recent searches. Use your mouse to select a recent search.

To clear your searches, right click any open area on the Search entry screen and select the Clear Search History command.
