There are multiple ways to Start TrustyFiles:

  • START. Click the Windows start button. Then click All Programs, TrustyFiles (the program group), and TrustyFiles (the program).
  • DESKTOP. Double click the TrustyFiles icon on your desktop.
  • WINDOWS EXPLORER. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to and double click the program file at c:\Program Files\TrustyFiles\TrustyFiles.exe (default installation folder).

When TrustyFiles starts, the following happens in order:

  • TrustyFiles reads in your incomplete download data files from your last start up. This could take a few minutes if you have hundreds of current downloads.
  • A graphic will display with the status of the start-up.
  • TrustyFiles will check for a program update. There may be a delay if you are not online or have a slow Internet connection.
  • TrustyFiles builds and displays the main program window, including web frames.
  • When start up processing is complete TrustyFiles displays the user software home page.

Note. The installation program that you originally downloaded is also named TrustyFiles.exe. Do not confuse the installation and operations programs. You may delete the installation program after you have installed TrustyFiles.
